This Web page contains supporting documentation for the graphs included in
the appendices of the 15 NAWQA Summary Reports published
in 2004 by the USGS. Graphs were made for 8 different groups
of chemicals and trace elements (hereafter called "constituents"), and for
15 different study areas where river basins and
aquifers were assessed (hereafter called Study Units). These graphs
put water quality data from each Study Unit into a national context.
An earlier set of NAWQA Summary Reports were published in 2000 and

As reports are published and processed for the world-wide web, they will
be added here.
Table 2 contains the lists of constituent names and reporting limits
used in the summary reports.
